Nowadays people are idolizing and worshiping many things that are displeasing to the Lord deeply. We must ask ourselves:

In our day to day, what we are putting in place of our God and Father? Are we giving Him the proper honor and glory and praise that you are right or what we're giving it to other people, situations or things?

In our professional lives, at home, at church, school, college, club ... What we are putting in place of our God?

A show? A novel? A car? A company? A sport? A game? A porn site? A magazine? A relationship? An addiction? A house? The shopping center? Movies? A / a lover? Money? Studies? The profession? The power? The Internet? Friendships? The husband? The wife? The children?

In this increasingly competitive world has no way of standing still watching life go by. We must fight and prepare for the reality of modern times. We have to prepare to face life. However, we can not forget the honor and glory to our God first. The Lord is the author of our life. It is He who gives us life, strength, intelligence and wisdom. It is He who gives us everything. We must never forget this: our God is our God Strong and Mighty is He who gives us all the necessary conditions so we can build anything we want to accomplish.

Whoever remains in me and I in him, bears much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:4-5

In going to spend your strength, for your land shall not yield its produce, the trees of the land yield their fruits. Leviticus 26:20

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it: Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. - Psalm 127:1



We must realize that we are completely dependent on God, for He is our Lord and creator. No one better than our Creator to know what is best for each one of us that we are but his humble creatures.

Many times a man rebels and think you have intelligence, power or wisdom to do and undo. However, when a man takes this path he is ugly and wrong end of this story we already know well:

And longed to fill his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no one gave him anything. Luke 15:16

Whoever has the Son has life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1 John 5:12



The fate of those who rebel and forget the Lord left him in a second or third plan will inevitably be the mud, humiliation, contempt and lack of everything.

It is important that we learn once and for all the gods of this world, those in which many of us put in place of our Living God Almighty can not do anything for us unless we take it for destruction, physical and spiritual. Therefore the Lord warned us:

1 - Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

2 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters under the earth. You shall not worship them nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and showing mercy unto thousands of them that I love and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:1 and 2



Not depart from your mouth about these laws, meditate on it day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and prosper. - Joshua 1:8 We should daily seek our Lord and God. Just as we need air to breathe we need the presence and company of our God. The Lord has taught us that without Him we are nothing and also we can do nothing.

All things are lawful, but not everything is beneficial. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. 1 Corinthians 6:12

We err gravely when they hear the wonderful teachings and guidance of our God of Love. Our God is a God who takes pleasure in limiting the life of man, on the contrary he is a God of Love and Freedom He only gave us his laws and commandments that we have just to be free, abundant, peaceful and truly full of happiness.

So we must never let the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God in a second or third plan. We book into our hearts and in our daily lives the true and rightful place of the Holy Trinity, which is just and always the first place.

The Lord of love, made a point of telling us over and over again on the fundamental importance of this procedure for the welfare and success of our lives:

Whoever has the Son has life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1 John 5:12

I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me I will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. - John 6:35

Not by bread alone doth man live, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

Believe in the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved and thy house. Acts 16:31

Thus we ask our God and Father, who in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for He has the essential gift of grace and faithfulness to Him so that we can, with all our might, with all our mind and with all our heart always say:

Me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
