Do everything for the glory of God - gospel messages of God's Word

Do everything for the glory of God Glorify your God with your lives
31 So whether you eat or drink, or should do, anything else, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Are we doing as the Word of God is guiding us, all for the glory of our beloved and wonderful God?
Let's think a little:
In our schools, in our work on the internet in our room in our home, our computer, our thoughts, in the bathroom of our house, in the bathroom of the company, in our car, our churches, our emotions, on our business, our feelings ... Does our behavior, our conversations, our attitudes are being directed to the glory of our beloved God or we are misrepresenting the excellent way that the Lord Jesus Christ taught us? Will in all areas of our lives we are doing everything for the honor and the glory of our God of Love?
How can we glorify God with our lives?
The Lord Jesus Christ taught us:
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask what you desire, and it will be done. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue in my love. John 15:7 to 9
We glorify God in our lives when we seek to walk in the ways of God, being obedient to Him and seeking to imitate the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is our great example of perfection, giving a good testimony of life and producing many excellent fruit and pleasing to God.
Such fruits that are works of the Holy Spirit of God in our lives, the harvest is nice. It is the result of good sowing of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that once deposited in the hearts of those who did not yet know the Lord of Glory, led these redeeming light and salvation which is only in the merciful grace of our God of Love.
11 If any man minister, minister with the strength God provides, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen 1 Peter 4:11

We can ask the Father anything using it for the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I believe the Lord Jesus does not meet all requests from men, because some very bad call. Do not glorify God nor the desires and much less in your prayers:
1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 lust and you have nothing, then you kill. Covet, and can not obtain; ye fight and war. You have nothing, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask and receive not, because you ask amiss to spend it on your pleasures. 4 You adulterous people, do not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James 4: 1-4
12 Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, this will also do the works that I do, and will do greater works than these, because I go unto the Father; 13 Whatever you ask in my name, I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12 to 14
Therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ only hears us what we ask in His name if the request is for our good and for the glory of our Majestic God.
After one had thus spoken, Jesus lifted his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come, glorify thy Son that the Son may glorify thee: 2 and gave him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life: that they may know thee, as the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. 4 I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, glorify me, Father, with thine own self with the glory I had with thee before the world was. John 17: 1-5
Just as the Lord Jesus Christ glorified God by being obedient to Him and doing good work all in His name, so we must hear the voice of God in our hearts, obey him and do everything as He inspires us and request to do.
In moments of weakness we must remember that our God and Father is the only power enough to cheer, cheer, motivate and give us the strength that we so need to move forward. We should never lose heart. If we stay away from our God of Love we will be shaken and we will be weak. We do not move away from the sovereign light of our lives and not our inexhaustible source of love and eternal life which is the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 You adulterous people, do not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James 4: 4

And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name, and hast not been weary. I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works, when it briefly turned to you, and I will remove your candlestick your place, except thou repent. Revelation 2:3 to 5
And finally our biggest challenge and greatest:
Glorify the Lord with our lives. How?
I think the best way to glorify our God with our lives and making it the image of Jesus' life. It's true! We are light years ahead of that goal, but we will not really discouraged because it is taking one step at a time toward the true light that we shall be overcomers in Christ Jesus.
12 All things are lawful, but not everything is beneficial. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord and the Lord for the body. 14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, but also raise up us by his power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of an harlot? Not at all. 16 Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is made one body with her? Because, as said, the two shall become one flesh. 17 But he that is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 18 Flee fornication. All other sins a man commits is outside the body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19 Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you, whom you have from God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 6:12 to 20
