Tithes and offerings II - Gospel Message of God's word

6 But I say this: Whoever sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap,
7 Every man according as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make you abound in all grace, so that always having all sufficiency in all, may abound to every good work;
9 as it is written: He spread, gave to the poor, his righteousness endures forever.
10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, and will multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
11 being enriched in everything for all liberality, which reverts to us in thanksgiving to God.
12 For the ministry of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints but also overflows in many thanksgivings to God;
13 as seen in the proof of this ministration they glorify God for the obedience that confession of the gospel of Christ, and the liberality of your contribution for them and for all;
14 while they, prayer for you, show the ardent affection that you have, because of the surpassing grace of God that is in you.
15 Thank God for his unspeakable gift. - 2 Corinthians 9: 6-15

When I read the word above just reminded me of two parables the Lord Jesus Christ had told. The first is the talent of speaking about the talents that the Lord had given to a group of people and the way that these people ended up using what he had delivered into his hands. And the second parable spoke about the great and moving that this poor widow's offering was conducted in the temple.

The first parable teaches us that we use with boldness, creativity and loyalty gifts and talents that our God delivered into our hands so that they can bear fruit in the order of 30:1, 60:1 and perhaps 100:1. And that will truly grow and prosper all that our God has entrusted into our hands. Mainly our part in God's work. many can not return to God in the form of direct work and dedication in the work, but may do so in the form of financial support.

On the other hand, this same parable of the talents, we can observe what happens to those who end up using the gifts and talents with fear and greed. The word shows us that the person who ends up acting in fear and greed, even what that person has will be taken away.
What will be taken from the first person will be given a second person who already has the second because that person who already has, she is not afraid to act boldly, fidelity and courage with what the Lord delivered into their hands. That is why she has. That is why she ends up getting more.
This second person is pleasing to our God because it ends up producing much fruit with the seeds that the Lord placed in her hands. She is not afraid to sow. She cares and never neglect their seeds. So they end up reaping the fruits of their good work.

The second parable, which speaks of the poor widow's mite. It shows how much our Lord is pleased by those who volunteer with sincerity and with gladness of heart even offer that person is very small.
Let us not forget that our Lord said that He would give increasingly those sons and daughters who are faithful in little. Fidelity has nothing to do with the size of the bank account of each person, but with love and gratitude that each one carries in his heart.

The word of God today is not talking only about the importance and responsibility that we have as our tithes, we should commit our churches to be able to keep preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, but it is mentioning about the boldness, creativity, application and perseverance that we have in our service of God's work.

As for the financial part, is as the word implies: each must contribute to the work of God as you send your heart. In the case of our tithe is the ideal that our return is 10% what we received net. Unfortunately sometimes it is not possible because there are brothers who may be experiencing serious financial difficulties. In such cases it is as the parable says the supply of the poor widow in the parable showed that even she did not have much money she ended up giving much of his little and it pleased and touched the very heart of our God.

On the other hand, there are brothers and sisters who, because of the guidance and the blessings of the Lord in their lives, luckily they managed to thrive and gained financial stability and many material goods.
To these people the word recommends that such people do not forget Him who was the giver of good seed and to do justice to the Lord who owns all the wealth that is in the earth and return with joy of what is necessary for the Lord may also be known by those who do not know the holy and blessed name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In summary:

Who invests little, and can invest more, and sadly that invests in the work of God, reap sparingly.
But the one who invests in heart, which invests with joy, the Lord is pleased lavishly that person and she will thrive, grow and receive more of Him who is Lord of all gold and all silver.

Amen and thank God. Stay in the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
