20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, them became the last state worse than the first. 21 For better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 Thus there came to them what this proverb says true; Return the dog to his vomit, and the sow that was washed back to wallowing in the mire.

2 Peter 2:20 to 22

When we were still lost and wandering the wrong paths of life by committing all manner of sin and evil our God and Father, in His great mercy toward us, had compassion on us and led us into the arms of our loving and merciful Deliverer and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. Many brothers and sisters, after being taken to the loving arms of the Lord of Glory were freed from the clutches of evil and had their sins, transgressions and evil deeds completely forgiven and forgotten. Besides being clean these sons and daughters of God has gained a new life completely restored.

In those days of great joy and happiness contagious many were extremely excited and could not hide the happiness was rampant. The newly converted were delighted not only with the wonderful blessings, but also with the sincere hope that henceforth they would live a much better life in the company of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This new life would be a life full of miracles, blessings, peace, financial abundance, health, smoothly, seamlessly and smoothly. They embraced with faith, confidence and perseverance our beloved Lord Jesus Christ Gloriously which was resurrected by God the Father, and with fear, sincerity of heart and great faith, enlightened by the Holy Spirit of God, made the wise decision to follow the steps of our Great Master and Lord.

Over time they realized that the new life was a life of hardship, problems, trials, persecution and that life is not pretty and no problem that many imagine. Still, supported by God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God they persevered in walking and praying and having daily communion with the Word of God and they pressed forward with gentleness, humility and obedience went on doing the work of Lord.

However, some brothers and sisters, because of the lack of prayer, fellowship and vigilance with regard to the relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God in faith and ended up discouraged, disappointed and saddened, once again became easy prey for the enemy of God.

This is something we are very saddened, because we who are children in the understanding of sacred things feel in our hearts that those who do so are bound to a path of great sorrow and destruction, for returning to the old way and are forgetting relegating the true and living road that our Lord Jesus Christ has opened, with great sacrifice, using it for their own Divine Life.

Who comes this way you'd expect from the future? What our God can do for that person? Now! We all believe and by faith, we have the knowledge and assurance that our God has come here in person among us to redeem us and deliver us from the clutches of evil.

What to expect when God is rejected and forgotten? Who and what can again release the man or woman who decides to deliver once again the practice of rebellion, transgression and sin? Who? If only God is the Lord?

That is why we must engage more in reading the Word of God, prayer and fellowship with our brothers so we can be under the protection and wisdom of the Holy Trinity.
